Sales Executive Overview
The Role
Our company is looking for an experienced self-starting sales professional to join our growing company as a Sales Executive. You will be taking a lead within the company in finding and developing new high-quality leads and acquiring new customers.
Skills and Experience
- Work with all levels of management
- Have experience selling software or IT consultancy services
- Be able to understand and communicate complex business requirements
- Identifying new sales leads
- Pitch company consultancy services
- Researching organisations and individuals to identify new leads
- Researching and preparing tenders for public sector contracts
- Contacting prospects via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings
- Researching and attending appropriate conferences, meetings and industry events
- Preparing presentations and sales displays
- Involvement in developing quotes and proposals
- Negotiating and renegotiating by phone, email, video calls and in person
- Working to weekly and monthly sales targets and KPI’s
- Ensure that any internal company systems are updated promptly and with all information resulting from any contact with existing or potential clients
- Have excellent communication skills and presentation
